In case you are wondering and have not searched the word Percipio; it’s Latin – secure/gain, percieve/learn.

John Stame, Manager, Enterprise Architecture at Chevron (BIO)

Prior to Chevron, I was a Sr. Solutions Strategist at VMware and prior to that, a Sr. Platform Strategy Advisor at Microsoft.  My overall mission was to secure platform adoption.  A key focus was evangelizing and demonstrating the business value of new innovative Microsoft platform technologies by driving early adoption and mainstream deployment.  My last couple of years at MS and VMware, and continuing now is focused on Cloud Strategy in the enterprise.  I would typically engage and collaborate with senior business and technical decision makers at customers and partners on leveraging the breadth of technology and resources at Microsoft to enable them to excel their application of technology to business strategy.
